Though anger is a natural feeling experienced by all human beings, the effects are always unpleasant. You may think that you are expressing anger in normal ways and it will not affect the people around you. Any anger either expressed harshly or politely has its effects.

Often teenage children are affected by anger. They feel hurt when the parents or teachers express disappointment about their lack of achievements. As they are in between childhood and adulthood, they will develop confusion about whether their parents or teachers really care for them and their future. As a result they get depression. A depression that is not treated correctly couldl lead to suicide.

Apart from the psychological effects, there are some physical effects also. Anger can cause high blood pressure, chest pain, severe head ache, migraine, grinding teeth etc. If anyone gets angry frequently, then in the long term and in extreme cases, there is a chance of a stroke, kidney failure, obesity and severe cold. It has been discovered that people eat too much when they got angry. As a result, obesity can develop in people who have difficulty coping with their feelings of anger. Excessive sweating, indigestion and even ulcers may also occur due to anger.

Medical experts found that anger reduces the capacity of heart to pump blood. This can over time to damage to the heart muscles. This is the reason why people, who get extremely angry time and time again, can get heart attacks.

Anger may also affect the skin. Anyone who experiences anger often, may suffer from rashes, acne and other skin problems. Their facial skin will start to show wrinkles as they experience anger. So, over time, an extremely anger person will start to look older than they are. If you bottle up anger,then it will also have some side effects. It could lead to depression, addiction to drugs, alcohol and sleeping problems. When you are not feeling peaceful in yourself, then you will lack concentration in your work, and your career with suffer.

If you get angry frequently, then your stress hormone level will increase and start to affect your internal organs, leading to damge and ill health. This is the reason that every one today wants to manage anger through various techniques developed by experts.
